A Bit About Us
People with complex communication needs have a right to communicate, and a lack of trained staff who can help them learn to communicate effectively is an impediment to achieving their goals. A lack of role models who also use communication methods other than their voices hampers their development as competent communicators as well.
It is our goal to improve services to those with complex communication needs, and their families, in order to help them reach their communication potential. We aim to meet the needs of this population by providing scholarships for training, active online collaboration and support, and projects to support our immediate community.
Resources and projects are being developed, including sending professionals and families to conferences like Talking AAC, as well as funding and implementing school playground core boards in our area. To learn how to apply, please visit our Scholarships page.
If you’re interested in getting help attending training, please see the resource list, or feel free to reach out for suggestions!

We will continue to offer scholarships for training including Talking AAC and literacy-based workshops. More information can be found on our Scholarships page.
